I'm undecided about that pickup. He was playing terrible in Oakland, but then again, everyone seems to suck when they go to the Raiders so he might pick it up here. He'll likely be playing nickleback so he may be able to dominate other teams #3 receivers, but I doubt that will be the case.
He has been a fantastic return man in the past though, and I think putting him back there to return punts would be a good decision. Randle El has been less than stellar back there (although better in the last few games) and he may provide a spark.
Overall, the skins got a guy who just signed an $80 million contract for $500k, and if there are any problems he can be cut without any penalty. And look at it this way, two years ago we would have traded 2 draft picks for him and signed him to a new $50 million contract before he ever played a down. At least we're not that dumb anymore.

I think the Raiders were going to have to pay him a ridiculous amount of money if he got injured, so since he was sucking anyway, they just released his ass.

Well that was pretty pathetic on both sides of the ball. Scoring on the opening drive and then only putting up 3 points in 3 1/2 quarters? Not being able to stop the run when they know its coming? If they don't get their act together they will miss the playoffs.

It was a good game to watch. Obviously I wasn't pleased with the ending but I enjoyed the game overall. As much as I hate the cowboys, Marion Barber did a hell of a job closing the game. He got yards on every carry.

In the first half when the Redskins were actually winning, I said to myself "uh oh, all they need to do is keep giving this guy the ball to get back in the game instead of letting Romo fuck it up"

When did our Oline become the worst pass blocking line ever? Campbell would run a play action and by the time he turned back to throw someone would be in his face.
But hey, they're 6-4 when I thought 4-6 was much more likely coming into the season, maybe even 2-8 after that giants game. So I can't complain too much.
At least Devin Thomas is getting more looks, Campbell and Zorn seem to be trusting him more so he must be stepping it up at practice.

Looking at their schedule, I think 9-7... but that won't make the playoffs.
FWIW, I think the Cowboys will end up at 10-6 and miss the playoffs too.

game sucked in person too. the Giants fans were the most fun thing about the game, that and the $4.00 hot choclate that was cold.
