You need to start calling corporate. VW likely has a national account with a rental company like Enterprise. Dealers don't like to do this but they can get you a loaner. Go above their heads. Call corporate and have your paperwork lined up and show them how often you've been to the dealer and the poor level of service.
Also make sure the loaner is available before you show up next time. Rookie mistake.

Hell, you don't even need to call. you can walk up to the front door in Herndon. VWoA should be able to do something if you really need them to considering their current public situation and the fact that NoVA is their HQ home.

its just like diesel-gate...VW will take shady measures as far as they possibly can before they think the repercussions aren't worth it. guaranteed there were plenty of people that knew it was happening and just filed it under "stuff i'll care about some other day". you can do that when you're made of money and have like 10 other brands to hedge your corporate apathy
