Re: The WANT Thread - Jake - 08-16-2011

As of this instant, I want a bigger garage, air/power tools, a lift, and a car with working air conditioning.

Re: The WANT Thread - HAULN-SS - 08-16-2011

50+gallon air compressor is on my list, and about 10 grand to sink into that 71 Monte Carlo I have would be nice

Re: The WANT Thread - Apoc - 08-16-2011

I want my Ducati back.

Beyond that, I can honestly say for the first time in my life I don't want anything automotive.

Re: The WANT Thread - D_Eclipse9916 - 08-16-2011

Time, I just want time, there is never enough of it.

Re: The WANT Thread - Jeff - 08-16-2011

What happened to your Ducati?

I have the time, I need some money to fill my time with mod installations. Wanna trade?

Went back in the shop 'cause it was still leaking gas. Turns out the gas tank drain has a small hole and they're working with Ducati to get them to cover it out of warranty as a "road safety hazard." Of course all of Italy stops working in August sooo...

Re: The WANT Thread - HAULN-SS - 08-16-2011

I just got done putting a Quadro 6000 and a Tesla C2070 in my work computer. I must say..WANT one or both for home box too, now!

C6 Corvette. Maybe late next year, but certaintly not any earlier. I'd settle for another C5.

Nice workbench for my garage. I got a good amount of Lowe's gift cards for the wedding so I'm either going to buy one or buy the materials to build one. Haven't decided which is the better route to go. It's got to be a good size and sturdy because I will be mounting my vise, chop saw, drill press and grinder to it. I already have a work bench that's about 18"x18" but that just isn't cutting it. I'd like something about 6' or 8' long.

~30gal. air compressor with air tools.

2in. leveling kit with BFG All-Terrain tires for my Silverado.

Build it - http://www.robertsdonovan.com/?p=543 (this is the way I built mine)

just use a level and something to measure your 90s.... unlike RJ

Re: The WANT Thread - .RJ - 08-17-2011

I built my 2nd workbench with a square AND a level AND help! Its good!

Re: The WANT Thread - Apoc - 08-17-2011

Pish. Mine was like $20 in materials and it works... you just can't move it or it'll fall apart.

Re: The WANT Thread - G.Irish - 09-10-2012

Back from the dead asshole!

So I saw this at Sears the other day and I've gotta say, I'm pretty tempted...

I'm trying not to be too impulsive in the next couple of months though, so I'll probably wait until closer to move-in date before getting a toolbox. The other thing is that ideally I'd get a roller toolbox combo where the top chest is light enough to pick up and take to the track. This one weighs 60 lbs empty :?

Re: The WANT Thread - CaptainHenreh - 09-10-2012

I like it!

Re: The WANT Thread - Evan - 09-10-2012

Sleep.

A little free time would be nice too.

Re: The WANT Thread - xvxax - 09-10-2012

I have that box, actually I have a deeper box than that and I wish I'd gone with something bigger. Big stuff like wood and regular clamps, torque wrenches, breaker bars, bigger hammers don't really fit and I'm almost out of room.

If you're going to get a craftsman box in that width, go as deep as possible. Also, get the ball bearings.

Yay!(?) fatherhood!

The older they get, the better it gets. Well, mine's 2 so my perspective isn't great. Let's check back when they are 16.
