Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - JustinG - 06-07-2011 for $785, you crazy yo OME leafs $116 x2 Coil Spacer $50 Shocks $36.99 x4 Total: $430 And I only really wanna do the rear, to get rid of the sag. Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - Jeff - 06-07-2011 lulz. Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - Kaan - 06-07-2011 Jeff Wrote:If you are gonna go OME just save and do their whole kit not just the rear leafs. those kits usually come with everything... even parts to align drive shafts and shit. OME is good shit. Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - JustinG - 06-07-2011 yea but $750 bucks, ill just throw the up country leafs on and leave it as is. Im not spending $750 bucks on this jeep when im trying to have a track car as well. Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - Goodspeed - 06-07-2011 Dammit I need to stop looking at this thread. Headlight upgrade has been on my list for a while, but now I want an OME 2" kit, BFGs, etc etc. Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - Kaan - 06-07-2011 Do it goodspeed! Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - Goodspeed - 06-07-2011 Kaan Wrote:Do it goodspeed! Heh - I probably shouldn't, but I'll do it anyways. I'm no off-roader (don't enjoy it quite frankly) but a 2" just makes the XJ look right, and if its any vindication, there were a couple of moments during the latest snowpocalypse where a little extra height/tire would've been put to good use. And oh yeah, zombies. Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - premiershine9 - 06-07-2011 X2 Goodspeed! And yea with the full kit it probably comes with the t-case drop, drop pitman arm, relocation bracket etc. Two weeks ago I help out an RC 3.25 lift on my buddy's 04 TJ, did it in 7 hours on his driveway! Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - Kaan - 06-07-2011 I am cheap... So I live my jeep dreams through other people. But I'll help out with wrenching and ride shotgun! Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - Jeff - 06-07-2011 If anyone gets a lift and wants help/tools/lift you guys know I know my way around a Mopar. Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - premiershine9 - 06-07-2011 Jeff Wrote:If anyone gets a lift and wants help/tools/lift you guys know I know my way around a Mopar. Trust me, I gotta feelin I'm gonna need your help soon. Here's something thats bothering me: When my TJ (Dana 35 3.07) rear is up in the air and in N (auto) i can move the tires in and out bout an inch. If your facing the wheel and pull out, away from the tub, the tire will pop out like a damn turkey thermometer. Is this normal? Bearing shot maybe? Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - Jeff - 06-07-2011 Hmm. That is a lot. I will check and see if they give a spec for that. I know it should move like .5 but a whole inch is a bit much. I can't remember if that is a c-clip diff or not. I think it might be. Any sounds or any other symptoms? Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - premiershine9 - 06-07-2011 Nope, and i'm pretty sure i'm running clips. Only running 32's so its not that much abuse.... Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - V1GiLaNtE - 06-08-2011 I keep looking at getting the Rusty's 2" lift.. My rear isn't sagging at all.. and it's a full leaf not that half leaf crap.. I do like trail riding but for now I just want to get my feet wet.. Don't want to dive into a $600+ setup when there are other toys I need this summer.. like a little black rifle... and more sharp objects.. oh an probably better tires to go with da lift... Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - Jeff - 06-08-2011 So Rusty's has a lift with full packs? I didn't even know that. Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - V1GiLaNtE - 06-08-2011 ^ not full pack just a full AAL IRC Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - JustinG - 06-08-2011 I really want this brush guard.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-Jeep-Cherokee-Black-Brush-Grille-Guard-Made-USA-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQfitsZMakeQ3aJeepQ7cModelQ3aCherokeeQQhashZitem35aa73a56cQQitemZ230492972396QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_8082wt_1047 ![]() Should prob fix the whole sagging rear issue though

Re: MM Folks with Jeeps - Kaan - 06-09-2011 these guys know better than to mess with a GRAND cherokee. you have to have a serious hard on to modify a jeep (and transmissions) to play with one of those. |
