you may have your wish granted.

I hope so. Rumor has it there where some light cars last year......

you need to talk to my little birdie (who reads this forum from time to time) and let me know whats going on. Even in the miata world its hard to keep up with weights. Let alone ALL the chassis and class combinations possible.

SSM is simple. 90-93 Miata's 2300lbs with driver. Let me know who the little birdie is.....

Wink everyone thinks their class is simple. can you tell me what a spec E30 is supposed to scale with driver? Or what the power to weight ratio is for GTS 1-5 and AI and AIX?

it gets to be a pain in the butt

You guys need a cheat sheet in tech.

Re: NASA-MA VIR Full Course - February 18 - 20, 2011 - Kaan - 02-03-2011

we already have a cheat sheet for wheel base lengths Wink you can make me one for weights and update it every time there is a change ... thanks

Re: NASA-MA VIR Full Course - February 18 - 20, 2011 - Apoc - 02-03-2011

It's almost like classes should put their weights on the windshield... or something.

And their wheelbases. That'd be pretty sweet too.

But helmets squeeze poor racer brains, and they don't think straight, so instead we have the moron in the E36 (108") who thinks he can drive right on the scale that the porsche 911 (89") just got off of.

I like that idea, keeps it simple and easy for everyone

This kind of stuff really helps Tech. Seriously, if everybody did this, then you all would be on and off the scales pretty quickly. I've helped down there enough to know that if racers did this, then they'd have less time at the scales to bitch.

What do we need to do to make this happen so everyone has it on their car?

An initiated class director.

Re: NASA-MA VIR Full Course - February 18 - 20, 2011 - Kaan - 02-03-2011

I requested it to be in the CCR... But no dice. So the class directors need to enforce it. We'll work with you!

I will not be attending this event

Not that I have any pull, but I will see what I can do. I will also have my weight on the car.

its a pretty easy thing to do. I htink Jim is your director now. just have him come talk to me... it would really help speed things up.

off to see about getting stickers printed up Wink

Maeng - We'll take the half of your room.

DJ - We'll take the air mattress too. Not sure if we'll need it but there is potential.
