Oh well. i'll also admit that I'm more fond of a nice, accurate bolt action rifle than I am of a semi-auto. - Evan - 10-13-2008 http://www.gunbanobama.com/default.aspx ... &t=Hunters - rezarxt - 10-13-2008 winnnerr

Kimber makes a great 1911 pistol. Does the Covert take Gov mags or is it officer size? I use Wilson Combat pro-mags in it and I can carry 8 and it NEVER jams. - CaptainHenreh - 10-20-2008 Hey guys, there's already a gun thread: http://www.mmsports.org/forum/viewtopic ... 982#162982 Gun porn goes in the gun porn thread.
- Jeff - 10-20-2008 I reject your reality and substitute my own....GO BACK TO FLORIDA! - DierwulfBL - 10-22-2008 I'm about to buy a handgun just doin a price check type thing make sure im getting as good a deal as he says it is. Paying $350 for a Taurus PT145. 10+1 and this is the pic of the model http://lundestudio.com/wallpaper/taurus ... ull-hi.jpg it shots real nice, and its got the perfect feel for what I'm looking for just seeing if the price is right - Jeff - 10-22-2008 Millennium's suck ass....that is all. edit- Just ask Ryan T about his... - Ryan T - 10-22-2008 Millenniums are expensive paperweights. I had one for a little over a year and hated it. It isn't accurate for shit, trigger is too heavy, and it jammed seriously about 1 out of every 25 shots. It would do ok once you got the first shot off, but it would never completely chamber the bullet when you pulled the slide back and you'd have to push it with your thumb. Total piece of shit, please don't buy it. And $350 is WAY WAY too much for that gun. I bought mine, in all black, at the Co-op here in Harrisonburg for about $270 used. If your budget is $350 and you want a small gun that is about the same as that one (but much much higher quality) try to find a used Springfield Armory XD. That's what I replaced my Taurus with and I am very happy with the XD. - Jeff - 10-22-2008 If I was gonna own a Tupperware pistol it would be an XD45 - CaptainHenreh - 10-22-2008 How you gonna buy a used gun and then complain about it? - Evan - 10-22-2008 DierwulfBL Wrote:I'm about to buy a handgun just doin a price check type thing make sure im getting as good a deal as he says it is. Personally I love the feel (although Ive never fired one) Matt has one and I believe he did have some problems which were fixed under warranty afaik. |
