I think we'll probably request that each member bring a pack of hot dogs or hamburger buns or something along those lines, and we'll probably have a cooler with ice for the trip up

Count on the Rockingham hall lot, across the I-81 bridge next to the Exxon Station on Port Republic, getting there at least 15 minutes before 11.

Is your Mustang down here, or will you need a ride-along with someone? Just curious. Also, idk where you live on campus but if you want a ride to the Rockingham lot, I'm sure someone could pick you up (myself included, swinging thru campus is easy for me).

i live in the village so anyone in need of a ride i can pick up.

Thanks man I really appreciate that. My mom actually lives about 35 minutes away so Ill just swing by her house on saturday or so and grab my car. Whats a good place to park it overnight for a day or 2? I was thinking walmart but I dont know if they would tow it or something.

I'll be up in Winchester that weekend so I can meet you guys at the BBQ. Let me know what I should bring.

- Jeff - 09-06-2008

If you leave at 11AM what is the expected arrival time at my place? I'm trying to decide if I have time enough to come do the drive and still be able to get all the food together, everyone fed, and back on the road by a decent time in the evening. There will be apple juice to drink.

I would guess between 2 and 3pm. It'll take roughly 30 mins. to get to the Swift Run Gap entrance via 33, then I calculate about 2 hours and 8 minutes to do the 3/4 SD to Front Royal at 35mph (not including short stops), then another 30 mins. to get to Woodstock from Front Royal (?)

i might try to make it out to this and meet some more of you guys... i'd be in the matrix and not the porsche. about what time would you be rolling past thornton gap (route 211)?

Who knows...with traffic, stopping for sights, etc I couldn't guess. Where are you located? If you're that close you might as well join us from the beginning Smile

- Roxtar - 09-07-2008

i'm in culpeper va... about an hour and a half from the burg.

- Jeff - 09-08-2008

I'm thinking I will just host the BBQ and skip the actual drive. That will give me plenty of time to get stuff together. Goodspeed we need to get in touch sometime soon to figure out the finer points.

- rezarxt - 09-08-2008

Ill be more than glad to bring something if you let me know what you need man. I ended up getting my car on saturday and found a place to park it so Ill have it all week leading up to the cruise. It makes things a lot easier. Smile Thanks for all the people who offered me spots I truly appreciate it.

- Ryan T - 09-08-2008

Alrighty I'm in. I've got an open seat if someone needs a ride.
