- JustinG - 03-01-2008 im gonna go with something bling, like a ARC titanium spark plug cover or the Titanium Radiator plates...... - Mike - 03-01-2008 haha, no bling. i bought it used last year for $120. it gave me 2whp and 5ft-lbs. it sounds amazing. - HAULN-SS - 03-01-2008 One of those Silver MMsports stickers? - Ginger - 03-01-2008 Cheap intake tube? - Goodspeed - 03-01-2008 Mike Wrote:haha, no bling. i bought it used last year for $120. it gave me 2whp and 5ft-lbs. it sounds amazing. Well, theres no way in hell you paid 120 dollars for a used titanium catback exhaust. And if you spent any amount of money on any material-exhaust that gave you such little gains, you should probably kill yourself  Maybe some sort of axle-back muffler? - JustinG - 03-01-2008 NA cars see little gains like that with exhaust.... My guess is an intake... ![]() Titanium Colored AEM intake.... http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/detai ... 6104C.html - Mike - 03-01-2008 winner! - Feersty - 03-02-2008 Nice change up Mike. What tires on the AP2 wheels? - Mike - 03-02-2008 Feersty Wrote:Nice change up Mike. What tires on the AP2 wheels? re050s. - Mike - 03-03-2008 newest goodies just came in today. not sure if i wan't to go 2" lower, though... car is pretty low stock. hrm, decisions... - JustinG - 03-03-2008 do it!! - Beej - 03-03-2008 Don't be silly. ![]() Though I can all but guarantee you won't be able to get into our driveway...wait until you move. And for the record, st00k's and their 9000 rpms sound silly with an intake. - Evan - 03-04-2008 yikes, looks ricey to me. and the distortion on that lens makes my eyes hurt - Mike - 03-04-2008 Evan Wrote:and the distortion on that lens makes my eyes hurt maybe he's parked at the bottom of a small dip? lol - WRXtranceformed - 03-04-2008 St00k is lookin' good buddy! Definitely drop that b, but I agree with BJ to wait until you're out of that place. It's not worth the hassle of destroying your bumper / undercarriage. Does that car have a short throw shifter from the factory? I'd consider that if you don't already have one. - Mike - 03-04-2008 WRXtranceformed Wrote:Does that car have a short throw shifter from the factory? I'd consider that if you don't already have one. whenever anybody asks "what's the best short shifter i can get?" on a forum, they get laughed at. - WRXtranceformed - 03-04-2008 So I guess the OEM is the best? The factory STS on the WRX wasn't bad, but I liked the Kartboy a billion times better. - Mike - 03-04-2008 WRXtranceformed Wrote:So I guess the OEM is the best? ya. i'd go so far as to say it's the best shifter ever made for a street car. - Maengelito - 03-04-2008 i think i've loved every honda shifter i've ever touched. that one time we traded cars mikey, that shifter was amazing. - Mike - 03-04-2008 soo another day with the intake... think i might take it off. positives: a tiny bit more power, it sounds "great" negatives: i could get $150 for it, it's really quite loud when i get on it, it creates a "whirring" noise at idle, i think it's ugly in the engine bay, chance of hydrolock, it's a ghetto install since i didn't have all the parts. while it doesn't add as much power, the comptech looks much nicer and is a bit quieter: ![]() or maybe get a cf cover for the stock box and a cf cooling plate:
