i finally got around to watching the video

showoff

i bet thats why you led the race from start to finish. no one wanted to get close to someone who d0r1ft0s around T1 on the first lap. it was an awesome save though

Congrats! I couldn't be there but it sounds like an awesome run.

Good luck at Shenandoah.

It seems so eerie (in the rain and such) when that car loses control and goes offtrack/ontrack infront of you about midway through lol. Anyway, good video, sure was fun seein that miata on your ass through the rearview mirror the last lap lol.

try being the car that went off track, want to talk about eerie...funny thing is I was a total bitch on turn 1&2 this past weekend but I still managed to best my previous record by 2 seconds

I agree, i love that pic, I just didnt want to re-post JayRay's pics since they are in another thread.

by the way, if anyone with pics could send me the full res versions to evan55 [at] gmail I would greatly appreciate it!

I cant even imagine. Going offtrack, especially in conditions like those, must make you feel so helpless (or atleast once its past recovery). I can only imagine what the feeling is when you are directly facing someone driving right by you on your way off...

Anyway, its interesting how it worked out for you. Did you do noticably better on other sections of the track? Or has it just been a long time since you had driven there in the first place? Seems like shitty conditions to be setting new personal marks if neither of the above were the case...

the track was only wet midway through saturday. the last session sat was not bad at all. (except for whatever asshole splashed mud halfway through the uphill esses) all of sunday was dry. the motor and brakes were loving the brisk cold air too

Ah, point taken. I guess I was equating those conditions in his vid with all of the runs (despite what has been said throughout the thread).

Well I had great conditions all day friday plus 4 40 min sessions that day where we learned to drive offline/etc (found there is more grip than one would think...). Saturday AM I had a great run and all day Sunday when I set my personal best. I was killing the uphill esses and 4-11 more than usual.
