I must apologize for the error in the ad.The car is located in Hamilton,NY you don't
worry about the shipping because the car will be shipped to your location without
any extra costs because the shipping fees are included in the final price. First of
all, I like to inform you that the car is in excellent running and body condition
never had an accident and there are no flaws on it or any other mechanical problems.
There is no lien against the car and the car has not been salvaged. It has a clear
title and it will be signed and notarized in your name as soon as the payment will
be completed. The buy it now price is $13,900 including shipping costs anywhere in
the continental US. There are no other costs regarding this transaction. I recently
moved with my family and now we are in Birmingham,United Kingdom. Since I lost my
job and I didn't found one here yet,I have to sell this car as soon as possible and
due to the fact that this car is an US model the price to register it h!
ere is
very high, also the shipping to this place, so I've decided to sell it in US at a
price that will find a buyer in a few days. You can find more info and pics at

hahahah scam!

- Mike - 11-18-2005

scizzzzzzaaaaaaammmmmm! seriously... how hard is it for the fbi to pull some undercover shit on these people?

- Feersty - 11-18-2005

I realize it is a scam but does he want the money wired to him and then he will send it to where the person is at?

Jack, get an A4.

Feersty Wrote:Jack, get an A4.

he can do better with 15k, honestly...and i do love my A4. i say that because every A4 chassis after the B5 (mine) is stupid heavy. with a budget like Jack's, he has the opportunity to look at newer cars so i wouldn't recommend the B5 off the top of my head.

i didn't realize the mini's were so expensive either. i love em, i don't care if they are a little limp wristed. besides, we're talking about the guy that was considering a scooter

jackstands Wrote:In the vein of WRX, Saab 9-2X. Looks more professional than WRX, or STI or SI or most of the other recommendations. Also, no one in the world will think you're a heterosexual if you rock a Mini.

Eh? Maybe if you're insecure about your sexuality or manliness you'd worry about such things but the Mini is not a girly or homosexual car by far. People race them, people raced the original, and its got strong performance for its class.

On the Si, it'd be a decent commuter car but compared to the other fun, sporty Hondas its rather subdued and plebian. A lot of that can be fixed with better tires and brake pads but it just doesn't get up and wail like the other Si did (or the new Si will).

Still, its got an excellent interior, and good practicality (cargo area). I drove the Si quite a bit when I worked at the dealership and I thought the rally shifter was great. Completely natural and quicker.

However, if I were to get a used Honda in that price range today I might get a Prelude instead.

My vote would be for a WRX or RS honestly. But again, drive all the cars you're considering and see what strikes your fancy.

- .RJ - 11-18-2005

I really liked the minis until I started looking at the interior and the price more. The interior is really cheap feeling and the price is too high for what it is new, IMO - and the strong market is keeping used car resale pretty good also. Its a shame because the car looks fantastic and handles even better out of the box.

- WRXtranceformed - 11-19-2005

Jack.

Buy my WRX. It's for sale now! I'm looking for a little more than 15k though ^_^

Only 20,500 miles, already upped in power, heated seats for those cold ass chicago days. What more do you need?

- CaptainHenreh - 11-19-2005

The 2.5RS is cheap, and all of the WRX suspension bits should bolt on no problem. I've driven them, and for a daily driver, they're pretty fun. Torquey.

There are, however, two problems:
#1: 165 hp.
#2: The WRX exists.

In other words, don't expect a rocket. However, if you do buy a 2.5/WRX...get the wagon.

- Mike - 11-19-2005

how about a forester? wrx bits all bolt on, different, roomy.

- JackoliciousLegs - 11-19-2005

You go from a turbo rear wheel drive to an anemic, ugly, fwd econobox.

You're so strange.
