yeah i would kinda like an update cause i just pawned off the ninja on someone that REALLY wanted it... and i'm looking for a new toy... mid to late 90s Katana 600... i've played with Kaw, Yah, and Honda... now its time for a different brand i think. i'll be around just look me up... i live up in the dc area so i can attend and help load and stuff if you want... or just hang out...

- JackoliciousLegs - 06-07-2004

I'd also like a bike seriously if I can get one $500 or below (Jack <- also in NoVa). Let us know!

- JohnC - 06-08-2004

Same here - tracking this thread with interest...

- Kaan - 06-08-2004

There's an R6 listed on the bulletin board at my workplace - 2003, Silver, 3k miles for 6.5k. If you're interested I could put you in contact with the seller.

- Kaan - 06-10-2004

everyone is on the R6 kick... so they hold their value. everywhere i look they are just about as expensive as they are when you go to a yahmaha dealer for a new one. my bike debate will continue... but i'm not paying 6.5k for a bike i dont know how it went through break in... and when you can get a new one for another thousand or less.

- JackoliciousLegs - 06-10-2004

I want a bike for less than $1000... SO BAD...

I actually JUST got off the phone with DPW today, I didnt even realize these posts were here.

They said they got a great load of bikes for auction THIS TUESDAY June 15. The guy told me that he has no idea what kind of bikes they are but he said its worth coming down. He said theres a 3 wheeler and a 4 wheeler.

I asked the guy 3 times if he could tell me ANYTHING about the bikes- price range, year range.. he just said trust him and come down. I'm gonna call again and do some name dropping and find out what they have, I know the district manager pretty well, if I mention his name they all shake in their boots.

Heres the only problem. The workers there are fucking idiots and they have no idea what the hell is going on.. no joke. this is the most fucked up government department there is. You gotta walk them through everything you need done. I would even call the day before and make sur the bikes are still up for auction.

I'm going with a 2 bike trailer, I'm gonna get something around a grand or so. I'll bring back a good fixxer upper if you guys are serious.

I'll give you directions if you want.

- G.Irish - 06-10-2004

I'll bring Camel Tow!!! Oh yeah, and give directions please Smile

- Mike - 06-10-2004

I'll may go down, I'm actually interested in the 4-wheeler.

- Kaan - 06-10-2004

- Martin - 06-10-2004
