Anyone else going to that course? If you wanted you could crash at my apartment, is that the last weekend in July? I'm signed up for c-ville on the 29-31 so i'll be in hburg for that weekend. - mrbaggio - 06-26-2005 Yes, it is the last weekend in July. If you have room I would love to crash. They make you be there pretty early. -Justin - Sijray21 - 06-27-2005 mrbaggio Wrote:Yes, it is the last weekend in July. If you have room I would love to crash. I will need to see if that is closer to the college than where I am now. -Justin - Sijray21 - 06-28-2005 i'm in northern va right now, but the apartment is in sunchase - Sijray21 - 07-31-2005 a little recap: this course was extremely helpful, and now that i have the taste of riding a motorcycle (never rode one prior to this), i need more. Almost everyone that took the course with me had atleast 3 months experience on a bike, except one person, our class was really good. The way they break up the session in c-ville was awesome, 5/6 hours a day with 11 other people always on the bikes on sat and sun. Riding felt like second nature after getting used to the bike after a couple hours. I definitely learned a lot and taking the HPDE course with NASA also helped a ton: weight transfer, center of gravity, braking in a straight line...etc. Awareness and looking through the turn were also stressed like the first HPDE. For anyone who hasn't taken it, it's a great course and i especially liked the teachers in c-ville, very friendly and extremely helpful....i've hit the m-pipe....i need more teacher says i'm, "a natural"
