- Mike - 02-10-2005 damn evan... u beat me. i like everything but the hood and wing. now g'd topic says 2006 civic spy shot. is this the 2006 civic si or is it just a concept? - G.Irish - 02-10-2005 Its a concept but its coming this fall. 200 hp, LSD, 17" wheels. Looks kind of like it has a panoramic moonroof too. No word on weight or price. - Andy - 02-10-2005 It looks like doo. I wonder why Honda would make a car that would compete with the RSX-S. I would've hope Honda would do all Honda drivers a favor and came out with something really bad-ass with awd or rwd. They've really filled all the market holes for fwd. On a side note, I was in court yesterday for my exhaust. The cop describes my car as having a bumblebee exhaust and the judge goes, "What, is it a Honda." - G.Irish - 02-10-2005 Honda already has a badass RWD car, its called the S2000. It beats every other roadster for the money (and some for more) and it still compares favorably with coupes in the same price range. Honda is supposedly dropping the RSX for the next market cycle. This seems to me to be a stupid move but if they bring back a RWD Lude or give us an S2000 successor (with a couple option maybe) then it won't be so bad. Still I can't help but to think that move would be stupid anyway. BMW is trying to move downmarket with the 1 series to occupy the very space the RSX does. Audi and Mercedes as well. Honda would have to make the RSX significantly faster and increase the spec a bit to compete but I think it'd still be worth it. |
