Re: Spend my co-workers money - Jake - 07-20-2017 Clearly, the only answer is a 7.3L PowerStroke Excursion because babies have a lot of stuff and young kids have a lot of friends and then you could do all of that and tow my old Miata as well as four spare engines for when they essplode at Summit Point. And have GCWR left over. The TSX wagon is pretty tiny inside, unfortunately. Would probably run into the same issue as many had with the Focus ST (and presumably GTI) - you can do a car seat behind the front passenger, but a second behind the driver makes things super tight. I suspect the Golf Alltrack would be fun enough to drive and have enough space vs a GTI that it would baby well. Re: Spend my co-workers money - rherold9 - 07-20-2017 He currently has a FoST so he is looking for something a little bigger. I'll let him know about the AllTrack. I'll mention the Flex as well Re: Spend my co-workers money - Senor_Taylor - 07-20-2017 rherold9 Wrote:CX5 is always the answer?MAZDA CX5IATA Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk Re: Spend my co-workers money - Apoc - 07-24-2017 .RJ Wrote:Apoc Wrote:Golf Alltrack gets my vote: https://www.cars.com/articles/2017-volk ... 692763408/ I wouldn't buy one, personally... but I'm a snob. Most mid-size SUVs are built up and not out, so fitting carseats is way more complicated than it should be. We took our carseat and stroller when car shopping and the Mazda sales guy tried to convince us that resting the front seats on the carseat was okay. It's not. Annecdote: A friend just upgraded from a Grand Cherokee to a Suburban because they couldn't get two car seats (one front facing, one rear) in the back. Conversely, we can actually fully recline the front seats in our wagon with a rear facing car seat in the middle. There aren't many wagons in this price range and the VW is best for the money. |
