Re: The GoatBoat: 2006 Pontiac GTO - Goodspeed - 02-19-2015 Re: The GoatBoat: 2006 Pontiac GTO - Tyler.M - 02-19-2015 Wouldnt be MM without rustled jimmies. Missed you guysm Re: The GoatBoat: 2006 Pontiac GTO - SlimKlim - 02-19-2015 I am entirely unrustled. Just confused. :dunno: Re: The GoatBoat: 2006 Pontiac GTO - Goodspeed - 02-19-2015 I have no problems with the lists (I have my own after all), just poking fun. Jake's is most best because he found a font color that almost perfectly replicates GM beige. Re: The GoatBoat: 2006 Pontiac GTO - rherold9 - 02-19-2015 Jake Wrote:Yeah, because displaying what you've owned in the past, just in case someone who owns one now and needs advice, is clearly for bragging rights  Also, old project threads (which I link to) are fun to read, so uh, tough shit? I think you can turn off signatures in the User CP if it bothers you so greatly.
Re: The GoatBoat: 2006 Pontiac GTO - Tyler.M - 02-19-2015 I personally do it just to flaunt my capitalistic excess and compensate for years of insecurity in my masculinity. That helping others thing with advice comes second. I just do it because I have a tiny penis. :dunno: Re: The GoatBoat: 2006 Pontiac GTO - Tyler.M - 03-17-2015 Took the car on a 2 day west virginia road trip and the more I drive it, the happier I am. It handles corners with surprisingly little body roll and straights and stop lights are something I've begun to look forward to. It's comfy, the sound system is decent, it hasn't leaked a drop of oil and I'm getting around 18-19 MPG. Not great, but I was getting around 23 -25 with the FRS. I've signed up for the test and tune on Saturday and I'm not going to lie, I'm a little nervous. This is the highest HP car I've ever owned and I'm not an expert at racing/hard launches/cars/driving or any of that stuff. There will be some frustrations, I'm sure, but I'm hoping this will be a fun experience. Goodspeed asked me my impressions on owning this for six months as my DD vs my FRS and I'm going to do up a nice little article on the multitude of differences. I have to say though, I think I personally like the GTO more because it ticks all the boxes for what I thought a car should be when I was a kid: Loud, fast and comfortable. Re: The GoatBoat: 2006 Pontiac GTO - Jake - 03-17-2015 Launch it in 2nd gear. Seriously. Re: The GoatBoat: 2006 Pontiac GTO - D_Eclipse9916 - 03-17-2015 Jake Wrote:Launch it in 2nd gear. Seriously. Re: The GoatBoat: 2006 Pontiac GTO - Sully - 03-17-2015 My guess would be Jake launched a corvette and the results were not as intended.
