Jake we have plenty of loaners that Gerald gave us as well that members are more than welcome to use. Taylor we'll plan out rides as it gets closer. Needless to say it won't be a problem getting there :thumbup:

Sounds like we got a bunch of current members coming up for VIR. Have places for them to stay been figured out? This seems to be a crapshoot the day of the event and I know one or two people have had to sleep in non-ideal conditions before. (heck ive slept on floors plenty, but apparently the younger crowd is "too good" for the floor
). Also, figuring out food in advance might be better. I dont mind throwing in a bit for food, and we need to make sure everyone is fed. What I don't like is eating our "neighbors" out of food and beer everytime. I bring a grill (courtesty of Navin) every time to the track, and tend to make sure I have food/beer fo me/close friends. I am never aware of how many current students/guests we are getting. It would be nice to know so we can help plan for them.

Let us alumni know if you guys need help funding a room. Hopefully weather will be nice enough to camp if people want. Some of us staff will be staying in the above-garage hotel rooms at the track and unfortunately, we can't really host extra people up there, the VIR people don't like it.
+1 to DJ's food discussions. What do we want to make - burgers, hot dogs?

Unsure about fires. We'll get a feeler for how many people are actually going to go and seeing if we are going to run into a space constraint.

"Campfires – Campfires/Ground fires are not allowed. Fires must be contained in a portable and self-contained fire pit off the ground. Campers must bring their own firewood; use of VIR Property as firewood is prohibited."

If you need warmth, I always buy electricity and you can hook a heater up to my trailer.
