If I can get a ride, I'll definitely be down for sitting around the grid for a weekend. I'll also see if my brother wants to take a break from being a father and bring the FD up too.

You could probably ride down with Rex & Julie, or talk to Dan and see when he's leaving.

I'm heading down Friday night as well. Hyperdrive on Saturday, then Rachel and I are heading up to Roanoke for a family event that evening. Not sure if I'll have an open seat or not though. I'll make it happen if it needs to, but sounds like Dan's VeeDub is the #1 choice at the moment.

^^ yupp, might be headed down early Saturday a.m. or leaving late night Friday again- might have to stay at JMU Friday evening for a induction ceremony. Needless to say students will have ride and we will be there Saturday a.m.

Its monday, I have no engine/trans/front subframe/steering rack/suspension in the car...at all. And I have to leave thursday after work. I foresee late nights in my future.

Main/Rod Bearings installed, oil pump, pan , valve cover, clutch/pressure plate/tob/pivot pin, trans (obviously), headers, spark plugs, coil packs. Unfortunately the Trans was being a pain to install. Checked clearances and pulled on an doff the trans no less than 8 times. Finallly after lining up the clutch and torquing the pressure plate for the fourth time with the crappy tool, the trans slid on like butter.

WHO IS HEADED DOWN AND WHEN? I know Jon P will be leaving Friday around 1 or so- I need to figure out one more train if you will that will leave either later Friday afternoon/ evening or early Saturday a.m. I will not be able to make it out this weekend and I'm trying to sort out a plan for the students here who wish to come down

As Dan said I will be heading down Friday now. I don't need to be there as early as I did before, but I'm still trying to leave by 12:30. 1:00 at the absolute latest. I may have one seat spoken for by Matt which leaves 2 rear seats open. Kinda small but not bad if you aren't overly tall.

We are leaving around 5 or 5:30. If Matt rides with Jon, we'll have 2 seats available. We don't come back until later on Sunday, so if you need to be back earlier than that, you should plan differently. If you want to follow us, meet at our house in Weyers Cave at 5 and we'll head out as soon as Rex gets home from work and I can pack the car.
