But yes, if you somehow go out without numbers, you will be black flagged as, this is how the corner workers identify cars on track.

Depends on when you are there.
I leave Thursday night and will be there Friday/sat/sun and leave sunday night.

Well the MM workers usually get a hotel room, and the guys driving do too, so you might be able to find somewhere to crash if you want to stay.

This ^^^, there is usually floor space.
After this event, my trailer will have plenty of floor space, but this will be my first event in it; and I am not sure I will have the a/c and heat unit in it yet. Would hate to offer it up and then it turn out to be ~30 degrees inside the trailer even though I am bringing plenty of space heaters.

I think if people don't stay at the track, Laura puts them up in the Best Western. Also, you can try the sleep inn, we used to stay there. I'd make reservations soon though, race weekends fill stuff up. Also mention the NASA discounts.

Thanks for getting in touch! We do have spaces for trained flaggers but at this point all other spots are full. It may be that we have a grid position if one of our long time staffers is not cleared by her doctor, but we won't know about that one until a week out. I will get in touch with you about the hotel, but it is the Best Western. I just haven't sent back in my contract yet for the year.
I will be in the office all day Monday and will get back with you then. Thanks!"
I will check in mid next week if I don't hear back from here just to touch base.
