Colt Brennan looked great. hell it all looked great, except for Todd Collins showing, but his front line and a hand in that. a lot of starters weren't playing hope it only gets better.

i used to go early and stay late at games to greet the players and get autographs. darrell green was the only guy to not only not give autographs, but he didn't even acknowledge fans.

I used to caddie for Darrell Green's golf tournament every year when I was little and he was always unbelievably nice to me and all the other kids who were doing essentially volunteer work. He would always make sure to stop by and talk to each of us for a few minutes, which obviously means the world to a little kid. He may deal with adults differently, but all my experiences have been great.
In terms of the game last night, the thing that impressed me most was Jim Zorn. The team was run professionally and seemingly with purpose and all the players were ready to go from the 1st string down to the 4th. I was impressed with the lack of procedural penalties, specifically non of the delay of games that plagued us under Gibbs.

i have actually played golf with DG a few times, and have run into him at the airport, he has always been 100% pleasant and nice to me.
also have met art monk, he is awesome as well.

We have another pre-season game this Thursday, against Jacksonville
I don't think we got rid of him as much as he chose to leave but regardless the system is still the same and apart from this weekend they have actually looked pretty good.
We sort of needed to acquire a defensive end and if he stays for two years and plays at a level similar to what he has been its probably well worth it.
I think our season depends a lot on what the Eagles and Giants do because I could see them go either way, I think we should be in the neighborhood of 10-6 and get the second wild card.

Theres just five because we played in the HoF game....i personally think that we shouldn't have another but i guess its probably better now. I didn't watch the second half of the Jets game so maybe they were terrible but we still only gave up 10 points right? Anyway, the backups woulda been playing by then so its not quite as concerning.
