- Maengelito - 08-04-2008 fuckin' a, about time Art Monk gets into the hall of fame. Both him and Darrell Green in the same year is all sorts of awesome. and yes, them winning tonight is like winning HPDE - lillitnn92 - 08-04-2008 Colt Brennan looked great. hell it all looked great, except for Todd Collins showing, but his front line and a hand in that. a lot of starters weren't playing hope it only gets better. - Mike - 08-04-2008 Maengelito Wrote:fuckin' a, about time Art Monk gets into the hall of fame. I met him when I was a kid, and he was very friendly and considerate to me. hrug:
- Hunter - 08-04-2008 I used to caddie for Darrell Green's golf tournament every year when I was little and he was always unbelievably nice to me and all the other kids who were doing essentially volunteer work. He would always make sure to stop by and talk to each of us for a few minutes, which obviously means the world to a little kid. He may deal with adults differently, but all my experiences have been great. In terms of the game last night, the thing that impressed me most was Jim Zorn. The team was run professionally and seemingly with purpose and all the players were ready to go from the 1st string down to the 4th. I was impressed with the lack of procedural penalties, specifically non of the delay of games that plagued us under Gibbs. - Mike - 08-04-2008 Hunter Wrote:I used to caddie for Darrell Green's golf tournament every year when I was little and he was always unbelievably nice to me and all the other kids who were doing essentially volunteer work. Maybe he's just uber serious around game time? - .paul - 08-05-2008 i have actually played golf with DG a few times, and have run into him at the airport, he has always been 100% pleasant and nice to me. also have met art monk, he is awesome as well. both very well composed IMO - Apoc - 08-23-2008 Good thing preseason doesn't matter. - Mike - 08-23-2008 i'll take 3-1
- lillitnn92 - 08-23-2008 that was horrible. i stopped watching when it was 30 something to 0. - DavidM - 08-24-2008 Well luckily the pre-season doesn't count for anything, lets just hope Jason Taylor is ready on the 4th. - Evan - 08-24-2008 good thing the preseason game that mattered most (the last one) was pathetic good thing we got rid of that terrible defensive coordinator good thing we blew a 2nd round draft pick on Jason Taylor my season prediction: 8-8 - DavidM - 08-24-2008 Evan Wrote:good thing the preseason game that mattered most (the last one) was pathetic We have another pre-season game this Thursday, against Jacksonville I don't think we got rid of him as much as he chose to leave but regardless the system is still the same and apart from this weekend they have actually looked pretty good. We sort of needed to acquire a defensive end and if he stays for two years and plays at a level similar to what he has been its probably well worth it. I think our season depends a lot on what the Eagles and Giants do because I could see them go either way, I think we should be in the neighborhood of 10-6 and get the second wild card. - Evan - 08-24-2008 shit there are 5 now? thats retarded i thought the defense was terrible in the jets game too, but i only watched the 2nd half - DavidM - 08-24-2008 Evan Wrote:shit there are 5 now? thats retarded Theres just five because we played in the HoF game....i personally think that we shouldn't have another but i guess its probably better now. I didn't watch the second half of the Jets game so maybe they were terrible but we still only gave up 10 points right? Anyway, the backups woulda been playing by then so its not quite as concerning. - Apoc - 09-02-2008 Anyone interested in placing a bet on the Skins making the playoffs? I like to gamble.
