what about fiberglass?

Tongue let me know if you want to try it out

- Mike - 04-02-2007

the one piece that MIGHT have been usable was sold on eBay. MIGHT = big stretch when I want the bike to look as if it were never in an accident. i'll fully disclose to the buyer the shape that it was in, but i want it to look better than when i bought it.

- Mike - 04-09-2007

I wish I would have known this was possible... Would have been cheaper and IMO A LOT better looking.

Wow. That is pretty hot, especially with the Viffer swing arm... Is that some crazy coincidence of bolting right up, or was there significant fabrication involved?

- Mike - 04-09-2007

a bit of both.

- .paul - 04-09-2007

that is the hotness!

Looks dope, but undertail exhaust n shit? Looks expensive...

- PDenbigh - 04-11-2007

That looks really good. What all was done there - side, front, and rear fairings, and ut exhaust?

- Mike - 05-03-2007

$225 and another part down. Got a brand new upper left cowl for half retail on ebay Smile

Need: 2 mirrors, windscreen, upper right cowl, headlight (mine is banged up more than i thought), headlight surround, and finally new tires.

Slowly, slowly...

- Feersty - 05-03-2007

When was the crash again?

- Mike - 05-04-2007

Beginning of August. You forget about the "Previous" button?

- Mike - 05-10-2007

Half of the bike is 100% back together! Yay!

- Maengelito - 05-10-2007

60% of the time it works all the time!

- Mike - 06-30-2007

Considering I spent $225 shipped on the left side, $75 shipped for some slight damage is a steal!

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=010&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=200122674966&rd=1&rd=1">http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... &rd=1&rd=1</a><!-- m -->

Now I need a new headlight, windscreen, headlight cowl, and a few fasteners that have gone missing.

stupid battery is dead Sad such a heavy bike to hike up a hill...

- Ginger - 10-04-2007

When was the last time you rode it? Wink

Considered a battery tender?

- Mike - 10-04-2007

maybe a month ago. i've been really good bout riding it around the block/to the store.

- Ginger - 10-04-2007

You'll need to ride it a little longer than that to really give it a charge... take it out on the highway for half an hour or so. Bike batteries are unbearably small and they tend to lose charge a lot more quickly than cars. And you know, VFR electrics suck, so expect them to go even more quickly!

(auto charge and shut off - roll into the garage, plug in, walk away for months)

- Mike - 10-14-2007

Fucking bike. Spent 20 minutes trying to get it started on a hill, rode around 20 minutes, turned it off, nothing.

- Ginger - 10-14-2007

See above. Or, in another couple of weeks you could tell us how it won't start again.
