BOOOOOO
I don't care how unreliable it was, that was awesome and you need to come up with something ghetto fabulous to replace it :-).

Sounds like the dash is all thats left man. Time to roll it onto some scales and see how you compare to the Spec-E30 rulebook...

- Chris - 10-12-2008

the newest addition to the E30. A set of D-Force wheels (new wheel manufacture) which are basically designed for Spec-E30. I'll get the tires mounted soon!

Looks good. LOL. I like How you tried to test fit. lol

- D_Eclipse9916 - 10-13-2008

omg, how are those different than 5zigen FNO1RCs? They are the exact same lol for probably cheaper. How light are they? They look good.

- Dave - 10-13-2008

that looks awesome Chris!!

- WRXtranceformed - 10-13-2008

I was about to say, those look exactly like the FN01Rcs. I saw the pics before I saw the post and I thought you had bought DJs

they were $105 each during the pre-order sale... regular $115 I think. They weigh between 13-15lbs... haven't weighed them but the shipping weight of 2 was 30 lbs. Spec E30 wheels can't be less than 13lbs.

I can't wait to see how they look once on the car. They would look even better if the car was a dark blue with yellow headlights...

Chris what bolt pattern can you get those in? that's the best knockoff of an FN01RC i've ever seen and i love those wheels (plus they're light!)

basically 4x100 for the E30 and then 5 lug for most other 3 series. I'm not sure of that bolt pattern though.

5x120 72mm center bore 36-40mm offsets on the e36/46 for a 8.5 or 9" wide wheel. I imagine they are probably manufactured by some company that makes lots of knockoff wheels. So many there are other "brands" out there that have your size and offset.

Tire rack now makes TRM (tire rack motorsport) wheels, they are a little lighter and a little cheaper and I think they make lots of offsets and sizes. I think I will get a set of those for next season if I don't go broke in the mean time.

Is it hard to find cheap wheels for spec e30? Doesn't kosei make a 15x7?

- kcook - 10-15-2008

nice pick up chris. i actually saw these on a few e30s this past weekend.

i saw these are available in 17x8.5 , do they make them in 5x100?

yeah kosei had the K1's which were awesome, but I don't think they make them anymore.

The other popular wheels are from Team Dynamics. These are also listed on Bimmerworld's site.

- Mike - 10-21-2008

i don't know if kosei still makes them or not, but tire rack does still sell the 15x7 k1 in silver... i was about to buy some today, but i think i want white.

- Chris - 10-26-2008
