Again can't remember if I posted the details but it was enthusiast owned by an older gentleman (recently passed away) who was properly particular about the car. Never driven in the rain according to the widow, climate controlled garage with Jag banners and posters / memorabilia everywhere. I promised it would be as well taken car of this time around Smile On top of the CPO warranty I negotiated in an extended 6 year / 100k warranty from day of delivery. Gives me lots of peace of mind to really enjoy this car.

We're working out transport because the bank took its sweet time so it should be here by next week Smile

Which part the black checker-ish design? It definitely does. The air con vents also fold closed when you turn the car off and fold open when you turn it on. Super gimmicky but it looks really cool Tongue

Anyone contemplating an out of state purchase / trade in / titling situation, I can tell you that it is super annoying and you need to be really detail oriented haha. I wouldn't recommend it unless you find "the" car like I did.

Was it the selling state or your state that was the problem? Buying the 911, aside from the problem with the shipper's flaking, was pretty easy. I got an OH title in my name from the dealer and took it to the DMV to get a WA one.

All of the above. A lot of it has to do with the property tax laws that just changed in NC in September and how titling / registration works in relation to those.

Haha honestly I was looking at mods already but I really think I am going to leave the car 99% stock. The stock exhaust note is already incredible and I don't want to screw up the lines of the car with other things (or mess with the warranty). I even like the stock wheels. The only thing for sure it is getting is a quality tint job, that is pretty much mandatory in the south especially for a black car with black leather.

The only things I may add are some small carbon fiber bits. Mina Gallery makes some decent stuff. They make a front apron splitter that is really subtle and just gives the front end a little more of an aggressive stance:

They also make carbon fiber hood louvers that wouldn't look weird on a black car:

Both are $175 each which is reasonable compared to the majority of other Jag aftermarket parts. They are available but there will be no pulleys or tunes on this one, 510 hp is plenty enough :lol: Apparently a lot of the early 2010 cars (I think mine is an early one based on the VIN) were already extremely underrated from the factory. Some guys in Britain were dynoing bone stock XFRs at 590hp at the crank

Another bone stock 2010 xfr dyno I found on the forums:
460.6 rwhp @ 6303 rpms
420.8 ft lbs @ 2656 rpms

Wow...apparently the torque is also electronically limited unless it is tuned out.

When I bought the Mini in OR, they collected the WA state 6% and then mailed me a check for it made out to the DMV. I then had to take the check to the DMV and pay the extra 3.5% county tax.

Yeah BoA collected sales tax for NC (they did loan and contracted out the titling) but now you have to pay property tax up front for any car purchase. I was forced to pay the property tax on my CTS as well before I sold it, so I had to turn in my plate, get a receipt, and then fax it to the county to get a refund. Super annoying.
