I use my phone as my primary (and usually only) camera so the fact that Google Photos backs things up on the fly AND has a good web app to use for management/editing really does it for me.

Just remembered how fucking awful iCloud is. It's been bad since I sold it in the days of the iPhone 3G as Mobile Me. Big ol' bag of nope.

I do too... I just obsessively organize them every day.

Then again, I still use Windows Explorer to manage my music.  Blush

Your life. It sounds exciting.

I can't watch porn every time I poop. Well, I can, but not too much of it at work or I'll have to walk back to my desk with a chub.

The sd card in the phone is great until your phone is stolen or you drop it off a boat or something stupid like that

I don't think quotes are working on Tapatalk or I don't know how to do them anymore.

But Jon, I saw multiple albums but they are all system albums from apps that create their own albums not ones I made. I found an old post on some forum. Looks like on iPhone you can select all the photos in the album and give them the same keyword and then search that on the Google app and create a new album in Google but it's all manual and there's no way to do that on Android except one by one

Quotes work fine. You just don't know what you're doing. Although I don't think I have quoted on Taptatalk yet.

I mean yeah obviously, but assuming you're already backing them up to another external HD or to the cloud I'd rather have my media on an SD card than the actual phone itself.  The only things I keep stored in my phone's memory are apps, and those can be redownloaded with 1 button click on another phone if I need to.

I guess my playing around with Google photo enabled some features. Guess there's something that automatically edits photos and notifies you to see what you think.

Here's my first[Image: 35369762894e5705aa8c4feadbb33cfe.jpg]

Thanks Google! I'd love a enhanced photo of a dead groundhog lol. Why do I have a picture of a dead groundhog you may ask. Well max, my dog killed it one day shortly after I got him. It was surprising because if you ever met this dog, especially back then, you'd be surprised he could make it up a flight of stairs, let alone kill a 20lb groundhog

I never used google photos... looks neat.

I only use icloud as a storage service. Everything gets backed up on the regular and I never have to think about it.

I've never had my phone stolen or dropped it off a boat... but ask RJ about phone stealing.

The Google photos feature that automatically edits photos is awesome. It'll give me "your weekend in review" type videos it makes with photos I took and even creates gifs out of series of photos. It's really sweet. It made this from a bunch of pictures we took at the beach. [Image: ac719b78b411d3b90ac9b886a45a522a.gif]

On phpbb you have to wrap images within IMG tags.

Nope guess I still don't know what I'm doing. What do I put in the tag? I tried the share and create a link button but I guess that's not it. Also, anyone figure out how to quote in Tapatalk yet?

For those iPhone users with the Uber app:

I mean... it’s a private API call to do something that Apple didnt have in its public API at the time. Instead of sensationalist journalism, they could have looked at the rest of the code and seen what the API was being used to do.

Crossposted from Facebook:

This has been happening recently in our 'hood. In short, they electronically close the gap between the key fob in your house and the car parked on the street. It only works on "touchless entry" because those are the only remotes that actively push a signal. The recommendation? Put your keys in a Faraday cage. lulz.

Saw this come up via IGN on Facebook, seems about as low as you'll find a budget 4k TV for in that size:

$398 shipped

I'm thinking of making the 4k jump... good find. I'm at 1440p on my PC and even that is pretty nice.

I am putting one of those TCLs in the loft where I have the PS4 if it pops up for a deal on Black Friday.
