Man I'm the exact opposite, I play COD for MP. Admittedly the last one I played was MW3, but for the most part I've never really been that into COD campaigns. That said, Kevin Spacy as the antagonist is intriguing.
AW seems like it'll be a fresh take on things but I don't know that it can tear me away from Destiny.

That's what Sony did with the PS3. Each one was sold at a loss, at least when they first came out. Probably wasn't the case once hardware prices came down.

all game consoles since the NES were sold at a loss for the first several years. The money is in the game licensing.
though I read something about Sony breaking even pretty quickly on the PS4. Not sure how they pulled that off.
I dont get why PS4 is killing XB1 though, with all the problems PSN has had lately, I would have thought there would have been an attitude shift away from PS4

only 2 instances of an issue with PSN, the initial setup on release day, where it was super slow to update and setup, and it was down in the middle of the day while I shouldn't have even been playing, since I was technically WFH.

maybe its overstated then but I see the news headlines all the time.
"PSN down" search on google news says it has been down at least 2 times just this month, once last month, plus DDoS attack in august, destiny issues this month, driveclub issues this month.
Just figured gamers would be pretty damn unforgiving about that :p
Up till now I didnt play multiplayer but I did just buy PSN+ and Garden Warfare though as a safe for the toddler to watch game (Watchdogs and Last of Us not so much), so time to go online and get pwn3d by some n00bz.

Failed at the raid last night. I, personally, just couldn't get enough DPS to do "my job" while the teleport team was doing theirs. Also, if Bungie does change the algorithm for who gets teleported that's going to be awful and stupid. However, it wasn't all bad:

Yeah baby, got Kabr's Wrath last night from right before we hit Atheon (Got a couple YOU BASTARD-s when it dropped, too) and I got Patience And Time from a legendary engram that dropped during the daily.
Not that I have enough of either to level it but it's still pretty nice. Brings my exotic weapons count to 3, (SUROS Regime, The Last Word, P&T) none of which I purchased from Xur.
I really enjoyed the raid. The teamwork aspect was phenomenal, and I feel like the Nightfalls were good practice. I just wish I had more time to grind up my gear, but I have Important Adult Shit to do.

I would really like to do the raid (and nightfalls) because the teamwork aspect REALLY appeals to me... but I'm just not high enough (L25). That and everyone I know has already done it, so I'm left out in the cold. :-(

I still have two pieces of rare armor, so I'm a long way from exotic. I can't upgrade up legendary because I need infinity Ascendent Shards and I can't buy legendary because I'm Vanguard Level 0 and you need Level 2. Apparently I was collecting FWC rep points that I can do nothing with. :roll: Sadly, my character is largely unchanged from a month ago and it's really turning me off from the game. I'm not a grinder, so I'm stuck being too low a class to play with others. :?

If you're not too far off from level 2 for FWC rep, just finish that out and you can buy legendary gear that way. Or just do the weekly heroic strike to earn some strange coins for Xur on Friday. Vanguard Tiger strikes drop some legendaries sometimes as well.
