The dealership took care of it for free. It is the spring clip that goes on the brake caliper and spreads the brake pad surface evenly across the rotor surface. It is a witch to get on. I didn't want it coming off again. The dealership couldn't order it separately, but I could. They were flabbergasted that I was able to get the part and they weren't. Ordered from a dealership in Ford dealership in Minnesota.
