I honestly didn't make the connection. I've never seen it so it was red in my mind with rusty running boards or something.

Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - Sully - 08-05-2015

Funny you say that, the steps are rusty but that's because Nfab's powder coating sucks and trying to get them to fulfill a warranty is next to impossible. It's alright though, when I pipe my exhaust through them, I'll get them blasted and recoated

My favorite memory is driving down with Jake to Richmond to buy my M3 before I knew how to drive stick. That was awesome! Jake was quite the enabler in my young MM days.

Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - Jess - 08-05-2015

Me scouting for drivers with Chan and Gerald at our first ever trip to VIR to figure out what they wanted Madison Motorsports to be. Consider this the first MM photo EVERRRR.

I remember when Lincoln and I drove to Maryland to get mine. Hit fuel cut on the way home, parked it in the driveway and started going over it closely. The tires were so far gone, I wouldn't have wanted to drive it at 25mph let alone in the 130's. One of them even went flat after sitting in the driveway for 10 minutes. Damn that car was such a pile of shit, but I still miss it. I miss my busted ass 240 too but for different reasons.

Then I remember when Chrzan and I got pulled over the first night I finally brought it up to school after waiting to get tires for it. I just wanted him to drive me back to the dorms and take it back to pheasant and park it but no, he's all like, "you gotta take me for a ride in it man" I feel like Chris is always the one to get people to do things that get said person in trouble and he always just happens to be there lol

Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - Senor_Taylor - 08-05-2015

Sully, I think I remember you talking about that at VIR or something.

You know something is wrong when I understand this about him perfectly.

Finally got time to read through most of this. Awesome fun stuff.

Someone needs to print that pic of Chan, Jess and G. Thats awesome.

I WAS LIKE 8-10 YEARS OLD

I love how Joey/Jakes generation had that one token blonde MM girl lol

Are Gerald and I the only 2 black people? lol

It IS a print, dug it out and scanned it last night :dunno:

Afraid so. Before you graduate you have to recruit your replacement.

Kristen? Good times - miss that thirsty Thursday crew.

Speaking of that and Chris' ability to make you do dumb shit. I let her co-drive my Ralliart back in the day and he sat with her on a run and convinced her to neutral bomb my car. Dick.

My watch is older than your pubic hair.

My freshmen year, Abby was an officer. She was blonde, kinda.

There have always been women in the club. They tend not to be as obnoxious as the guys so you don't hear about them as much.

Hah, I had to convince you to buy the stupid thing and then you sold it because of a water pump Sad

It was one of the cleanest M3's I've seen... black on black, 100k miles and like what, $5k purchase price?

That drive home was fun though

Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - SlimKlim - 08-06-2015

It wasn't quite as clean as the one Cable bought from the lesbo couple in stunning condition only to hatefuck it for 2 years until he finally killed it. Sad

I remember taking it for a spin when you guys brought it home, it was a good example. I'm still chasing the elusive dragon of having my E36 feel as solid as some of the ones you people have lucked into. DJs white car had a remarkably solid interior before he tore it all out to go racekah. From what I remember yours and cable's were incredibly well preserved too.

I thought his only made it like 3 months before he had completely ruined it by running it into that truck.

And then he blew it up street-racing Cody. :vomit:

Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - SlimKlim - 08-06-2015

Well he can-openered it on the dump truck or whatever the fuck, and it was gone forever getting fixed. Then at some point after it was repaired he money shifted it trying to drag race.

Re: MMMM: Memorable Moments in Madison Motorsports - D_Eclipse9916 - 08-06-2015

Some people just can't have nice things.

I swear we were all together when the news came through he had like driven it into the side of semi on 81. WTF.. :dunno:

Correction, I did not leave it in a vat of simple green. It was clean when I parked it on the counter, it was a nice centerpiece for you assholes.
