i like the idea of something cool from a WWII fighter that isn't another Flying Tigers shark mouth. here's some livery from a "hien" fighter for example. maybe a graphic from the tail fin.

It actually doesn't seem like a terrible idea. They are fairly reliable (at least when compared to an E36), parts aren't ridiculous, and the E320/E420s can be had for pretty damn cheap these days. All it'd need to look like that would be the AMG wheels, springs and shocks, and tint. The fenders wouldn't be flared like that 500E, but given the $9k price difference between a regular W124 and the 500E, I could deal. It would be a pretty bitchin' daily to cruise around in.

one of our old MM'ers had a 420 (Aaron). looked nice but i imagine its a pretty soul-less driving experience compared to your M...which might be a good thing, i dunno.

Yeah, it would be an addition, not a replacement to be used as a daily driver, so a nice quiet, comfy, automatic battleship is a pretty attractive idea. Also, when I parked the two of them next to each other, I'd be the coolest motherfucker alive...... in 1995.....

E34 Wagon isn't that hard to come by, and an S50 w/manual swap is relatively easy. Sooo... go for it guys! :dunno:
