Test drive of a supercharged XF coming tomorrow morning, also going to try to hop in an IS-F I found. I will post up my impressions but I am already feeling that the XF supercharged or the XF-R are going to be much better overall cars than the Lexus.

Props to you Justin, I think the XF Supercharged / XF-R is the one. I didn't even bother driving up to Mooresville to test drive the IS-F. The Jag checks all the boxes. Test drove a 2013 XF-R because it has the same motor/identical performance as the prior years and is very close in acceleration and braking to the Superchaged. This is the one:

Beautifully made, incredible fit and finish on the interior, very high quality leather seats with heating and ventilating PLUS cooling (air conditioned air is pumped into your butt), great sound system. It feels like a heavy car but does not ACT like a heavy car if that makes sense, similarly to a Cadillac. The heaviness gives you a feeling of solidarity with the road but the car turns in super flat and eager. I didn't take the traction control off but did put it in Race and Sport mode and that thing does not want to go slow at all. Power is a pure surge with an incredible exhaust note. Slip it back into standard drive and it is as comfy as my Caddy. I got to check out a 2009 Supercharged with the 4.2 engine that had the "Spice" colored interior, or that weird orange that you saw in the white one I linked a few posts back. It is MUCH better looking in person. For some reason it looks bright terrible orange in pictures but in real life it is a nice muted beautiful colored leather.

Just need to find a good example I feel is a good price, preferrably a 2010 or 2011 that is just coming off lease, so the dealer is keeping his eyes open for me! I'm not in a huge rush because I'm still a little under on my Caddy and I can just keep paying it down in the meantime. Either way I'm glad I posted up here looking for suggestions because I would have never even considered a Jag! The just feels like "me" and I like that.

I don't look at or interpret CARFAXs a whole lot but it seems like a lot of "checking" of the tires / suspension within a relatively short time frame. Two tires mounted and balanced at 15k miles? I'm wondering if Driveability / performance checked was the reason why this particular one went up for sale 2k miles later.

guy down the street just picked up an XFR in black and it was sitting in his driveway as i rode by on the way home from a bike ride. its seriously a special looking machine. absolutely gorgeous in typical Jag tradition.
