Sooo...anybody have a 360 they want to let go cheap? Have the RROD and I don't play much so 4-500 so my kids can play Minecraft is a bit much.

The gamer reviews I've read say otherwise. That both are skippable. I'll continue to do more research (before I place my game order, which will meet me upon arrival home), but I'm looking like strictly BF4 and Forza 5 right now. I'll of course likely get FIFA too, but that's only because EA deal.

God, I never use mine aside from netflix so it might be time to give up on it.
I have one with HDMI, in great shape, two controllers, plenty of games, and a headset. Let me know if you want it/dont need Rex's baller ass system. Mine does NOT have kinect, nor any options.

So after reading about a lot of the bullshit shortcomings of Forza 5, I went through with selling my preordered Xbox One on ebay, and bought a used PS3 from one of the wifey's coworkers. I'll be picking up GT6 in about a week's time.
When I get back from down under I'll probably pick up a PS4 for the Destiny beta.
How has BF4 been on PS4 so far? How's the stability of multiplayer?

After some fits and starts and some patches and some of me deleting my saved games (!??!) to get BF4 to actually run...Justin, Matt, Rob & I have been playing it and...works fine? It's fun.
I've never done a battlefield game before, but I definitely like the larger "feel" of it vice CoD. Big team deathmatch was always my favorite Halo gametype, and BF4 is a nice replacement.
Killzone multiplayer is pretty good too.

Loving my XB1 so far, setup was easy and the integration with my cable box is pretty sweet. Voice commands take a little time to get used to, I was actually "trying" too hard to have it understand me and was almost yelling. Once I calmed down and just spoke, it worked much better.
Another feature I liked is that in BF4 you can have it so that when you lean it causes the character to tilt, like to peek around a corner. I don't know about you guys, but I personally always get really into a game and did that anyway so it actually is pretty cool.

thinking of selling my xb1 for profit. i've still not been home to open it so it's worth about $75 more than i paid. simply not impressed enough by the difference between the launch games and their counterparts on the last-gen. then again, i may make more selling my last-gen now rather than later...

spent two hours with the xb1 today. the following is an e-mail i sent to some friends:

takes forever to boot, which is only a small issue.
on first boot it didn't do shit for about 10 minutes. no loading screens, nothing. i assumed i had a bricked unit and then it suddenly started doing shit.

the kinect somehow heard "play music" when heather was creating her avatar, which lost her state.
bf4 doesn't impress too much. good game? sure, but i'm not wow'd by the "next-gen" of it.
takes forever to f'ing download anything. i've been installing bf4 all day. i just got to play the first single player mission. i really only want to play multiplayer, but it looks like that download may take all night. why can't i tell it to start with multiplayer? regardless, it said the full campaign was downloaded, but after i completed the first mission it told me i couldn't play further until it downloaded more. uhhhh, you said i was done?
i don't have the world's fastest connection here, but it's still broadband. i'm seeing 18/5 with my laptop at the same physical location of the box.
i've seen a handful of "unknown" errors from doing straightforward things.
voice control seems to be more difficult to use than it is worth.
the netflix app is a large step backward.
i didn't really expect it to work, but since i have coax cable, i can't use the tv features.
the system as a whole feel needed to bake many more months.
skype is kind of cool.

Weird, aside from the initial start up mine boots up really quickly. Then again I take advantage of the Xbox on command and have it turn on my receiver and TV so I have to wait for those to turn on anyway so my perceived start up time might be skewed by that.
Are you hardwired? everything downloaded pretty quickly for me and I average about 16-17 download.
