I also talked to Jason Hunt yesterday as well after he got back from Englishtown and Jason said that he and Shep had been talking a lot lately at their various events and was impressed with how his car is progressing.

I actually won't even mention the the full why behind all of this.

I'm currently in the delayed enlistment program waiting to leave for Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas.

I should find out exactly what date I leave this Friday. It won't be before the 10th of January next year and probably not as early as February. There are a whole lot of people who are signed up before me and the Air Force only has one basic training facility.

After basic I will head off to my wonderful new school located on top a hill in the bay of Monterey, California. If you've never heard of the DLI (Defense Language Institute) <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.dliflc.edu/">http://www.dliflc.edu/</a><!-- m --> you're probably not as interested in learning a second language as I am.

I won't actually choose the language or even know which one I'll be studying until I arrive in Cali but my top four choices (which I hope they look at) are Russian, Persian/Farsi, Serbo/Croation and Arabic.

Anyway, my academic vacation from JMU is going to get a little longer.
If anyone has any questions about it ask em. I'm pretty excited about all of this but couldn't say a word (except to Mike@Vtech because he is an Air Force Reservist) until after I had passed the DLAB (Defense language Aptitude Battery) and knew I would be heading to Montery.

Alrighty guys, its time for Madison Motorsports to have our photo taken for the Bluestone. Our photo appointment is Wednesday October 12th at 7pm in Taylor 405. The Bluestone people are on a pretty swift moving and structured schedule, so I would like for everyone that is going to be in the picture to be there by 6:45. First, how much is a pass for a bike? Is it less than a car? I couldn't find the rates on the JMU site without going into their "secure transaction site" (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://web.jmu.edu/parking/">http://web.jmu.edu/parking/</a><!-- m -->)

Also, do they usual ticket bikes as often as cars? Where do they even stick the ticket (ie, no wipers/windscreen)?

Hey guys,
Got a few questions about my turbo install..
1. Should I use new OEM coolant/oil lines or buy the $110 SS lines?

2. Where is the best place to mount the EGT gauge probe? Drill one of the exhaust runners? Which one? Put in the swing valve? The downpipe?

3. Should I replace the Headgasket and do the rod/main bearings while the engine is out, even though it dosn't look like it needs it? (compression 1-150, 2-135, 3-155, 4-151 service limit = 100psi)

4. Use the starion/conquest IC or buy a new one? I am short on funds, bare it mind.

Any help would be much appreciated.
