Hey everyone. Doubt anyone on here will have need of these as they're valved and sized specifically for my year Tacoma, I figured I'd post them on here anyway. Less than 10,000 miles on them and less than a year old. One eyelet has started to back off of the piston, which is a common thing with 5100s. It's easy to tighten back on, I just don't feel like messing with it.

They're both F4-BE5-D560 shocks which is the longer passenger side shock on Tacomas, so they're applicable to anything that needs this length shock. They're good up to 2 1/2" inches of lift on Tacomas, which is why I'm getting rid of these. My lift is closer to 3" than the 2 and 1/2 I was expecting. I have some of my stock bushings that go in these is you want them.

Ok all you Honda, Miata, and regular part junkies, I'm on the lookout for a set of Panasports / Rota RB's / Konig Rewind / etc,
I think 14" would be about right, but could consider 13 or maybe 15's (but have to verify clearance)
4x100 with a +25 or close offset. Polished, painted, whatever, but I'm kind of partial to the gray center or maybe even a gold for that scoobie look.

Oh, and did I mention I need them pretty cheap? :wink:

I purchased this Jeep in October of 2010 with 72k miles from a dealer in Maryland. It was absolutely the cleanest one I could find, and remains in overall very good mechanical and cosmetic shape. I am selling it because I’ve purchased another vehicle and don’t need two.

It has served me extremely well as my daily driver for the last 4+ years, never giving me any trouble whatsoever and getting me through some serious winter storms. This Jeep has spent 99% of its time with me on pavement. I take very good care of my vehicles and kept this XJ in top shape during my ownership - I have a stack of receipts for parts and labor. A sampling of the maintenance history below:

Nov 2010/72,600 miles - all O2 sensors replaced, F/R brake service, transmission and transfer case fluid changed, differentials serviced, new spark plugs and boots.
Feb 2011/75,790 miles - new thermostat and housing, new AC compressor and clutch, AC recharged.
Aug 2011/81,200 miles - Wheel alignment, balance and rotation.
October 2012 - New battery
November 2012/93,500 miles - Chassis lubrication, cooling system flush, power steering fluid replaced, brake fluid replaced, oil pan gasket and misc. smaller gaskets replaced, F/R brakes replaced, F/R differentials serviced, driver’s door hinge replaced, new General Grabber AT2 tires mounted and balanced, wheel alignment.
July 2014 - New serpentine belt
February 2015 - New shocks front and rear
March 2015 - Oil and filter change

I also performed my own oil changes every 5k miles during my ownership. This is definitely one of the cleanest/well maintained examples you will find anywhere - I have have receipts for thousands in maintenance.

The Jeep also has an aftermarket audio system with Polk Momo speakers and a MP3 head unit. There is some professionally installed cabling under the rear bench seat for subs/amps as well, so the system can be expanded. I had a heavy duty H4/9003 headlight wiring harness from Susquehanna Motorsports installed together with glass Euro housings and Hella 80/100W bulbs. I also had legal 50% tint installed on the front windows that made a big improvement in keeping the interior cool.

In the interest of full disclosure I will list a few issues that would I would fix at some point if I was keeping the Jeep:

1. The A/C evaporator coil, I suspect, has a leak. This causes the system to slowly discharge, and is a common issue among all XJ Cherokees.

2. Every now and then only the rear speakers will play music, and this usually occurs on very cold days. It’s more than likely the speaker wiring in the front door hinges needing some attention.

3. The rear bumper has a scrape or two and some clearcoat spots missing.

In sum, this is a very well sorted Cherokee ready for its new owner. I am asking $5,500 OBRO. PM me if you or anyone you know is interested, I'm keeping it just on MM for a few days before it goes on CL/Autotrader etc.

Hey everyone,

I'm starting to fix up my motorcycle after it was kicked over. Got new fairings on the way and changing my oil but it's been sitting for so long I'm going to have to clean my carbs. Only problem is... I have no idea how to do this!

I happen to have recently transitioned from an exercize ball (did that for about 2-3 years) to a standing desk. Puts me above the cube wall and I can see the windows! I cheat and lean on a huge file cabinet and get breaks at meetings and lunch. But there's all kinds around our office, and a surprising # of people are trying standing desks.
