We would like to have a drive on the 11th in remembrance of 9/11. This event is not MM sponsored, its just some of us getting together for a drive and all traffic laws will be followed. If you want to go balls out on the street, then please do it on your own time away from me.
whats a good time for everyone? I was thinking 2pm and going on 33 West. Meet at the old walmart lot which is now Kohl's.

I know none of you are doing anything. 1343 S. Mains street, the rock house. Parking in the back or in the lot across the street. Drinking is what we're doing.

rode up to frederick md today for some autox action. i had never run with this group before, and like us they were still relatively new to hosting autocrosses and there were minor wrinkles to iron out. aside from little things, event went really well and i'll be running with them again next weekend.
the course was really tight and required shifting (this is a bad thing with my busted tranny) in 2 spots. i was only able to get one of the shifts done all day so my times weren't exactly stellar.
i tried adjusting my setup from what i usually use since this was a tight little course (shut up penaut gallery). i put the rear shocks full hard and the front 1/3 of the way hard. 40psi in the front and 39psi in rear... car rotated VERY nicely... almost felt like it was pivoting through the slalom as opposed to pushing through it.
results (off the top of my head)
1. mg midget, carbon fiber everything, big sticky tires... 43.3
2. s2000, exhaust and big stickies are all i could tell... 43.5
3. wrx, dunno what was done to it aside from stickies, but it hauled ass... 45.?
4. little mercedes convertible thingie on stickies... 45.?
5. boosted gs-r... 46.2?
6. me? 46.4
there may have been more people in there, but from what i can tell everyone that is beating me runs stickies. I NEED STICKIES (plus an lsd, tranny, and some power).

Ok, yea guys, Im selling it. Ive finally decided that its a more viable option for me to buy a brand new car and spend the money I spend every month on this car for mods, bits and pieces etc, and spend them on a car payment.
Heres whats new or has been replaced.
Brand new motor from VW with all reciepts. About 25k since.
Brand new transmission and clutch. Also 25k on it.
Brand new ATP Turbo kit with under 10k since install
New 02 sensor
new blue CTS
new front motor mount
new fuel filter
new clear turns and fogs
new oil pressure switch
new plugs, wires, cap, rotor
new vac lines
new KYB GR2 shocks
oil changed every 3k with synthetic
BBS 15'' powdercoated black wheels with falkens
high flow cat back exhaust
Autometer A/F guage
Autometer boost guage
I bought this car and it had some issues, it was in a fender bender and needed a new core support, fogs, turns. It also needed a new oil pressure switch (old one was leaky), and the valve cover gasket re-installed.
After getting all that done it came time to address a slight cold start issue it was having, running a bit rich. I bought a new ECU with a stock chip aside from the ATP chip and everything worked great.
Many interior pieces are new as the PO decided he wanted to spray all the plastic bits yellow. So many have been replaced with stock black pieces. The last 2 things it needs are the front motor mount and fuel filter which I am doing tomorrow.
Overall the car is in great shape mechnically and electrically as the entire drivetrain is new, spoiler works, windows work, everything works. The front bumper needs to be sprayed as it has chips in it from the fender bender, and the rear pannel below the tail lights has a small dent. The E-brake needs to be fixed also.
Also the pass side cv makes slight clicks when the wheel is turned all the way sometimes so theres probably another 5k before it will absolutely have to be replaced.
This car is fun and fast. I have TONS of spare parts to go along with it also, some of these include:
Brand new bosch 440cc injectors
Spare painted interior bits which were swapped out
A-pillar dual guage pod
Here are some pics

The P/O was selling the car for $3750 in the condition it was in before I bought it. Now over about $2000 later and the COUNTLESS amount of time I spent on this car getting it up to snuff I would like to see $5,500 for it.
5,500 for a G60 with a 25k mile drivetrain, new turbo kit, tons of other new parts and needs very little. Plus you get a few hundred $ of spare parts. Hit me up on IM via vortex if your interested.
I would say Im down for trades, but the whole reason I am selling it is for a downpayment on a brand new car.
