Next year's big Pro racing events. Who's Going?
Posted by: G.Irish - 11-18-2004, 03:01 PM - Forum: Lounge - Replies (21)

WRC Corona Rally Mexico - March 10-13
Formula 1 Canadian GP - June 12
Formula 1 Indianapolis GP - June
Moto GP/AMA Superbike (Laguna Seca) - July 8-10

I'd like to do the WRC Mexico and definitely Moto GP at Laguna Seca. I've got a 'connection' for the Indy GP but we'll see how things go with her  .

Who wants to do what? Maybe we can raise money for a group trip.

Not sure if he's in it here, but Jim Pantas ended up driving this car... Put it two off at the next corner I think (not the crash picture in the album though).

I found a funny one today, just thought I'd share it. Anyone else see funny stuff like this?

"What is Fiat Money?
A. Money with no intrinsic value
B. Money with intrinsic value in its self
C. Money used in France"

88 Celica All trac turbo For sale
Posted by: Jvimpty - 11-17-2004, 10:51 PM - Forum: For Sale/Trade, WTB - Replies (7)

Hi,

Eric Langbein is selling one of his 88 celica all tracs ST165.

It is a dark grey one, 184,000 miles runs...missing rear seats and rear interior, comes with spare motor (st185) spare gear box, and carbon hood available too.

white compomotive rally wheels with aes007??? or something like that new tires or stock st165 wheels available..

Car is near DC in Beltsville MD, if anyoen would like to see it over turkey break or get more details you can email him or me.

his email is ericlangbein (at) hotmail (dot) com

and he is pretty slow to answer emails as well but he will get to them eventually. he is moving to Pittsburg PA and would like to sell the car by December 1st...it just passed MD inspection, and is in decent shape...interior parts can be gotten from other non all-trac ST16x cars...

engine etc are stock, except for 2.5" exhaust I think. runs well...etc.

Not sure on price I think depends on what you take with it, car no extras maybe $1500

spare engine, $250ish
Carbon Hood (really nice) $550ish
Spare G-box $75ish
wheels etc...$ish

This car squashes DSM turbo all wheel drives in reliability and performance.

I can attest to the durability of the ST165 as we have tried to destroy our rally car many times....(recently running 32 stage miles with no coolant and a wastegate that was stuck closed).....new headgasket and decked the head and it si still powering our PGT ProRally car.

Jeremy
