a coworker informed me of the existance of the craftsman club. basically its a bunch of catalogues they send you and apparently you get coupons every week or something like that. could be good or could be bad depending on how much money you want to spend on tools. anyhow, i just called and signed up.

hey guys

its only 2 weeks away and we dont have anything ready ie: registration page and info. lets also use this thread to suggest improvements for problems we encounted last time. i'd like to suggest having the necesary paperwork posted online for competitors to print out and bring with them. that way we avoid all of them waiting in line to play with clipboards.

i also wanna address the worker situation. we need to explain more in depth what workers should do such as not talk on cell phones while the course is hot, when and when not to red flag, shagging cones, etc.

also, the run groups need some reform to seeing as how people sign up and then dont show up (mjc...) which throws all the numbers out of whack.

lets hear some suggestions (from new officers?) and see this page up and running before the weekend is up.

You guys think $30 bucks for a helms manual in great condition is a fair price? Im selling it on ebay. The last helms manual i sold on ebay started at 10, and only one person bid on it. So this time i put the price to $30. Hope it sells.

BTW, you guys usually buy stuff for cheaper off ebay or what ? Im gonna start lookin at buyin games off their if the consensus is that you can usually get a good price

I'm going to replace or block my EGR Valve over break. I haven't decided which yet; ergo, this thread.

My car is idling like poop currently (presumably due to and EGR Valve problem as I am getting an "EGR Valve" check-engine code); and, I'm afraid that blocking it won't fix the problem, which will waste a lot of my time and a little bit of my money.

What say you?

I've heard roumers of an AutoX on Dec 18th? If this is an open event, could somone elaborate on things such as:

1. Where it is?
2. How much $?
3. Where to sign up?
4. Why is boost so addicting?

I purchased an exhaust from a guy who lives in lynchburg but its a one-piece so it won't fit in my car. Is there anyone with a pickup or suv or station wagon or anything big enough to carry it up for a drive down there sometime this weekend? Probably sunday? Of course I'd pay for gas and buy you lunch on the way there or back.

Or if you any of you will already be down that way and could pick it up for me, that would work as well.
