i am not a student, so i haven't posted until now because wasn't really sure if i should. i am and have been for a long time a "car nut". i'm 33, live in h'burg, born in staunton. i work in b'water at Dynamic Aviation. i am currently taken classes for A+, and will be taking Network+ classes next semester at Massenutten tech. i've posted before this, but i thought i'd do a intro thread. i like what you guys do here and wouldn't mind showing up to some of the events. someday i wouldn't mind trying some autoX. i don't drive anything special, just a 92 Ranger. i've had it for a long time and have done a lot (but not enough) to the motor.
current mods
custom cold air intake, JBA headers, hi-flow cat, Flowmaster 40, MSD 6A w/ Blaster coil and MSD 8mm wires, DZK007 underdrive pulley, Perma Cool fan, Centerforce Stage II, Holley 155LPH fuel pump

Got ticket for going fast. Sucks. And apparently CARB/50 state legal stuff means nothing to VA. The cop wanted me to rev my car, thank God I have a EVO2, the two big ass resonators saved me from another ticket. Has anyone gotten a speeding ticket in the burg, are they lenient at all.

I am considering getting a progress rear sway bar. I have agx's anf hyperco's. My car still understeers. I rn a little toe in up front, and zero toe in the back. It was suggested to me to try some toe out in the back before before the new sway bar.
A bigger rear sway bar, stiffer springs in the rear, and toe out all increase oversteer, but do they do it in the same way (obviously they dont physically do it in the exact same way, but is the end effect the same)? Will one be more controllable? Will one way give more ultimate grip? Which should I try first? I hope you guys can get what im saying. Sometimes I suck at asking the right question.

Who is going to be around the 'burg during Christmas and when? This can facilitate some get togethers and such once we know who is here.
I'll be around the entire time except for the 27th and 28th. All the rest I will be working or goofing off.

Anybody in the NOVA area know anyone or work for anybody that could use help over the holidays? Ive tried about four different places, including quiznos where I used to work, and they all have already hired/dont need anybody. I cant afford to go through the break without a job, and im willing to work anyhours whatsoever. I can get anywhere the metro or VRE goes. Thanks.
Edit: Ive also tried looking at department stores/UPS but they all hired earlier.
